Where to pre-order the Pokémon TCG Scarlet & Violet — Shrouded Fable expansion

The next expansion for Pokémon Trading Card Game, Scarlet & Violet — Shrouded Fable, is set to launch on Aug. 2 and is currently available to pre-order from several online retailers. Shrouded Fable introduces over two dozen Ultra Rare and specially illustrated cards to the current Pokémon TCG library.

Below, we’ve outlined the different formats that are available to pre-order, along with a description of their contents and where to find them.

Elite Trainer Boxes

Just like the two previous Scarlet & Violet expansions, Shrouded Fable will launch with an Elite Trainer Box. While this particular Elite Trainer Box will only be available with a single design featuring Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti. It can currently be reserved from either Best Buy or GameStop for $49.99.

The standard Elite Trainer Box includes nine booster packs, and a single illustration rare promo care featuring Pecharunt in addition to the following accessories:

• 65 card sleeves
• one competition-legal coin-flip die
• two plastic condition markers
• 45 Pokémon TCG Energy cards
• Collector’s Box with dividers

The Pokémon Center also has an exclusive version of the Elite Trainer Box featuring two additional booster packs and a Pokemon Center exclusive version of the Pecharunt Promo card. This version of the Elite Trainer Box is available to pre-order for $59.99.

Mini Tins

$9.99 Mini Tins are available to pre-order from Best Buy and GameStop. Featuring designs of Dusknoir, Zoroark, Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti. Each tin includes a pair of Shrouded Fable booster packs, a sticker sheet, and a single art card.

Promo Card Blister Packs

A modestly-sized blister pack that includes a single promo version of Pecharunt and three booster packs is available to pre-order from Best Buy and GameStop for around $15. Just note that this version of Pecharunt is different from the version included in the Elite Trainer Box.

Special Illustration Collections

A new format available with the Shrouded Fable expansion are its Illustration Collection boxes. An Illustration Collection featuring Kingambit is currently available to pre-order from Best Buy and GameStop for $21.99. This box includes a single foil art promo card of Kingambit and a foil art Pawniard and Bisharp cards in addition to four Shrouded Fable Booster Packs.

Two more $29.99 Illustration Collection boxes featuring ex-versions of Kingdra or Greninja are also available from Best Buy or GameStop. These versions of the Illustration Collection include full-art foil promo cards of either Kingdra ex or Greninja ex in addition to five Shrouded Fable booster packs. The Kingdra version of the box also includes foil cards for Horsea and Seadra, while the Greninja version features foil cards of Froakie and Frogadier.
