Elden Ring’s upcoming expansion Shadow of the Erdtree is but a few short weeks away, but budget-conscious shoppers can get the much-anticipated expansion for less at Newegg.

Xbox and PC gamers can pick up a digital copy of the standard edition for $32.99 instead of its usual $39.99, using the code VERDTREE at checkout. This is a few dollars less than a deal we saw at Fanatical during Memorial Day weekend, de facto the best deal we’ve found so far. If you’re looking for the premium bundle, it’s also on sale for $43.99 (was $49.99) at Fanatical.

For the uninitiated, Shadow of the Erdtree features a new villain, Messmer the Impaler; an unexplored region known as the Land of Shadow; and, more than likely, a dozen more ways to die. It should be said that you’ll need to have made it to a certain point in the Elden Ring campaign to be able to play the DLC — something only about half of players accomplished.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will be released June 21 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
